Using MS Excel 2003, although other versions of MS Excel should not be a problem

NB: Students should be familiar with Word Processing Level 1 skills for this course

Appearance and layout Formulas and functions
Finding your way around Freezing headings
Entering and changing information Freezing Headings
Moving and copying Printing
Formatting Importing information
Sorting Borders and shading
Inserting rows and columns Graphs and charts
  Templates
   

The above course is for 8 sessions at a cost of $30

Students will be encouraged to set up their own spreadsheets, which will include an Address Book, Christmas card mailing list, (Grandchildren's) Birthday list, Bank or Chequebook monitor and Finacial assistant.
